Finnish International Baccalaureate Society (FIBS) is an organization devoted to all IB students in Finland. FIBS activity includes organizing events for IB students and enforcing their respective rights through its active students’ rights team. FIBS’s responsibilities include advancing the IB diploma’s familiarisation in Finland, easing the IB graduates’ journey into tertiary education, maintaining contact with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), and fostering community well-being in general for all IB students and graduates through easily accessible activities and services.
FIBS’s board consists of active IB students and/or senior members elected by the annual general assembly.
FIBS offers a multitude of ways to benefit your local or national IB student community as well as the opportunity to earn CAS hours, directly proportional to the valuable work you do. Please stay in touch and keep updated with our organizational activity through our social media platforms!
